Are you in your centre? ย How do we find our “center”? What is my center?
I use the framework that calls this place inside of us that is calm and knowing our center. This is a term also used in other traditions, but can be likened to intuition, inner knowing, your “gut instinct”, similar to the phrase: “I just had a feeling”….A central facet of my coaching practice is to support my clients to find their center, and then create a pathway to their center for themselves, so that they are empowered to continue finding their center on their own after the coaching relationship is complete.
Mindfulness has been a huge part of my journey to find the path to my center, benefitting all areas of my life. I began being curious in a trip to Asia when I was 19. This led me eventually to attend a Vipassana 10 day silent retreat in 2006. What was the best part of this training? The silence in my busy mind after the first few days allowed my body to integrate the experience of centred-ness. This is sometimes referred to as presence or being in the moment. ย In my coaching programs I help clients with their body-mind connection awareness so that they ‘build the muscle’ of finding their center through getting to connected to their body’s experience.

This article is a source of inspiration for me, it helps me a lot in sleep problems.
I also used this Rain Sounds https://youtu.be/uSxflHAxweE to fall
asleep easily. Thanks, keep it up!
